Bathing and Hiking

Popular destinations for hiking are the two Alps Salei and Pesced. The Vergeletto-Valey with further Alps and the Mountains Pilone, Munelüm and Zucchero. A little longer journey will take you to Italy and up the other side of the valley.

You will find great bathing spots in the mountain-lake of Salei, the River Isorno at the bottom of the valley with is marvelous basins, the newly renovated hot springs Bagni di Craveggia and the Canyon of Camagna.

The new cabelcar Vergeletto-Zott-Salei offers the possibility for one-day-trips to the next valley.

Also nice to have a look at are the typical Swiss-Mountain villages Spruga and Comolognio. The valley has a rich history also of swiss writers which you are invited to discover.
